Reiterate, Site-Specific Video Installation
I created a site-specific video installation for the well regarded Marin Headlands Center for the Arts in Sausalito, California. To create the looped footage, I mounted a camera onto a car and drove around the suburbs of Silicon Valley. The footage was projected onto the facades of two former military buildings facing one another, and each looped repetition gets increasingly faster.
Visitors to the art event would walk through the installation on their way to the entrance and would experience a sense of motion as they passed through the synced video feeds.
